Reverts’ Iftar Dinner – Isiolo

The Isiolo Muslim Aid Network (IMANET) successfully hosted a special Reverts’ Iftar Dinner in Isiolo, bringing together over 170 reverts alongside Islamic scholars and leaders from various Muslim organizations.

The event was honored by the presence of the Principal Kadhi of Isiolo, the Chairperson of the Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya, representatives of Waso Ulama, and several Islamic preachers who offered guidance and mentorship to the reverts on matters of faith and Islamic learning.

This historic gathering — the first of its kind in Isiolo — provided a welcoming platform where reverts felt embraced by the Muslim community, connected with scholars, and strengthened in their journey of faith.

A key outcome of the meeting was the commitment by the Ulama and Muslim organizations to continue supporting the reverts through learning forums and mentorship programs, ensuring they have opportunities to grow in their knowledge of Islam.

Participants warmly received the initiative and expressed hope that such gatherings will be held regularly to support and uplift reverts in the community.
